Artist Statement:

I paint murals, paintings, furniture, cabinetry and screens in the beautiful style of Caseine, France. To create these functional art works in this traditional method, I make my own paints from glue, milk, and pigments. The texture given by the transparency of the glue and the delicate glaze obtained by the color yields a unique crackling and antique effect.

Purchasing a screen, a piece of furniture, a mural, or a door is like adding a piece of art to your collection.

My fee for murals and panels is $500 per day, and a 15' x 15' dining room could range from six to eight days work, depending on the intricacy of the painting. Murals and panels can be removable, made on wood or canvas and mounted in position. Therefore, if you move, the work can be transported.

Transportation costs are added to the price of the work. These details are best discussed on a piece by piece basis with the artist.
